Filo Ebid is an award-winning singer and actor, currently studying Vocal Performance at the University of the Pacific. Throughout his journey, he has ventured into many genres, ranging from pop and RnB to opera. His big tenor voice has taken him across the country to perform solo and as part of choral and musical theater ensembles. In high school, he was cast in many musicals and theater productions and toured with his high school choir in Los Angeles and New York. His roles have included Shrek in Shrek the Musical, Teen Angel in Grease, and Tom Collins in Rent, and he has performed songs from popular musicals such as Dear Evan Hansen, Les Miserables, and Hamilton.

Filo is known locally as a solo artist, performing at churches and open-mics around the TriValley and Stockton area. However, his biggest accomplishment is performing a solo at the Choirs of America Festival in Carnegie Hall. He was also a finalist in the 2019 Youngarts Competition, which unfortunately was cut short due to the pandemic. He has worked with locally renowned artist Darita Seth and was part of his newly-founded ensemble, Choral Audacity. Currently venturing into songwriting and collaborating with his peers on original music, Filo has many projects going on at the moment. But he is most excited about his in-the-works musical theater EP as well as the Christmas Special he is planning for the next holiday season.

When not singing, you’ll find him playing volleyball with his friends or playing card games. As a church leader, he spends a lot of time teaching kids the way of God, using his God-given talent to spread his name. His pride and joy is the church choir he directs. He is currently educating the congregation on the basics of musicianship, teaching them intonation, simple music notation for sight-singing, and the proper technique for healthy singing. Furthermore, he started giving voice lessons and hopes to form a studio for his students soon.
